How to connect
to and use our FTP Server
Once you become familiar with the process of sending and retrieving files
from our FTP server, you can determine for yourself, which is preferable:
using a internet browser or a dedicated FTP application. Either process will
work depending on which version of browser you are using and what platform
you are on. One is not faster than another, though the 'drag-and-drop' ease
of using a browser may win you over.
On a PC running Windows XP It is possible to use a browser to do FTP. We need to emphasize that you should be using Windows XP and version 6.x of MS Internet Explorer to make this easy. There have been advancements in this version and Windows XP that makes this possible where it may not have been before. We have not tried doing FTP with Navigator or Opera, though it should be possible with later versions also. As for Macintosh users, we have not experimented with the MS Internet Explorer on that platform, however it is safe to say that Microsoft has not advanced the state of the Macintosh version in pace with the PC platform. It may or may not work on the Macintosh. In that case you should use a dedicated application.
To use MS Internet Explorer 6.x or later on a PC, simply type in ftp://208.201.230.192 in the address line, (or just click on that link). If this is the first time that you have entered the FTP site, you should see a "Log On As" window...username shown below is for demo purposes and will not work.

Then type in the User name & password. Call Cal Repro for password information.
Click on the Save password box and next time you wish to FTP to us, you will not have to type in the user name and password.
Click on the Log On button, and it should take you to the list of files on the FTP server. At that point it is just a matter of either dragging your files from local hard drive directory onto the FTP server directory or do a copy and paste of the files. You should also realize that anyone who logs on to our FTP site can see your files. If there is any kind of sensitivity about that, please call and let us know right away so we can download your files and remove them from the FTP server. Obviously, the same procedure applies if we have placed a file on the server for you to retrieve. Just log on as above, then simply copy the file to your local hard drive as if you were copying a file from a local storage device.
